When we first learned that one of our biggest clients was sponsoring an esports team we were obviously hyped. Esports has been a private passion for some team members after all. However we soon realized that with great power comes great responsibility.
Explaining to a business audience, what esport is, what our clients software does, and how that can benefit there business, in short and in a way that keeps users engaged was no easy task to begin with.
There are more possible champion combinations in League of Legends than grains of salt in all of earth's deserts.
Our client wanted to promote the showcase on a touchtable. So we invented multiple micro games that can be played with a single token. Shooting a ball in a soccer goal, a quick guessing game, a short round of pong, all interactions are quick, intuitive, and feed into the overall storyline.
