What could be better than combining one of your greatest hobbies with an amazing job commission, all while getting to tinker around with the newest cutting edge gadgets? This is exactly what we asked ourselves the moment we got the request to work on a Mixed Reality Showcase for the apple vision pro, showcasing how our client's AI helps Team Liquid with their match preparation in League of Legends.
The users test their League of Legends knowledge in two different scenarios, all while beeing guided by an AI-copilot. They interact directly with pseudo physical object on the map. As if playing chess with pieces that have the ability to come to life.
When working in mixed reality, you have to adapt an entire new set of design paradigms.
As a special cherry on top of this project-sundae: we got to work with our company christmas present. We 3D printed an entire custom inlay for a carry-on suitcase. This way, the showacse can handily and safely travel around the world all while improving quality-of-live for the staff setting up the showcase on-site.
